| | | 10 Tips For A Happy Honeymoon
- Finish
your honeymoon packing as soon as possible. You don't need to have your
bags packed a week before, but having your clothes and accessories laid
out will help you save time before leaving.
- Remember
to read your guidebooks before packing or leaving for your trip. Being
aware of customs and dress codes will help your vacation run smoothly.
- If
you are leaving directly after your wedding, arrange for a friend or
family member to transport items from your reception (gifts, your
dress, your veil, etc...) to your home.
- Remember to arrange for transportation to the airport, train station or other post-reception destination.
- Keep
important documents such as your passport, tickets, reservation papers
and confirmation forms in a place where you will remember them.
- If you are traveling abroad, exchange money ahead of time for incidentals such as taxi fare, snacks and travel entertainment.
- Bring something extra special on your trip such as new lingerie.
- To avoid long waits, try to coincide your arrival with your check-in time.
- Give
yourself some time to breath after your wedding, and schedule travel
plans for late in the afternoon or evening the following day.
- Bring
the addresses of friends and family with you. Your wedding guests will
appreciate a postcard from your honeymoon destination.
